SPS celebrates 10 years

This year marks a powerful milestone for Speech Pathology for Schools — our tenth year of impact.

In 2025 alone, we supported over 20,000 students — each one an individual story of progress, possibility, and potential. Behind every number is a child finding their voice, a reluctant reader gaining confidence, a teacher empowered through collaboration, and a school transforming practice.

What began in 2016 with four schools and a belief that speech pathology could be embedded more meaningfully in education has grown into a model that has changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of students. SPS now works in many schools right across Melbourne.

Our vision has remained steadfast: To change lives for the better by improving student literacy and language outcomes through speech pathology collaboration in school communities.

As we enter our next decade, we do so with momentum, purpose, and pride — continuing to seek unmet needs, strengthen partnerships, and celebrate the extraordinary work of our team.
